The desire to express our relationship with the Divine has long been the inspiration for creative people worldwide; from the cave paintings of Lecausx and the Venus of Willendorf to the stained glass windows of gothic cathedrals and the Millennium Gaia. Artistic expression of our spirituality is undeniable. Some say all artwork is spiritual in that it comes from the Muse, the Awen or the Source of all creativity.
The Sun Moon and Star is hosting an exhibition of spiritual works by talented local artists. Some are internationally know and others are exhibiting for the first time. All works are originals and the artists will be on hand over the weekend to speak about their works and meet the public.
We chose this weekend because it is Waisak, a time of celebration and inspiration the world over, which focuses on the birthday of the Buddha.
