The Sanctuary is our dedicated learning and meditation space.

If the Sanctuary is not in use during opening hours, it is available for those who seek some peace and quiet to regain their centre, pray, meditate or contemplate. An altar and prayer book are available for use. A donation towards incense and candles used in the sanctuary is appreciated.

The Sanctuary can be hired for use by groups or individuals. ; please see the information below for those wishing to hire the sanctuary.

The Altars are in the process of being re dedicated. The one at White Gum Valley will be dedicated to the Goddess.

It will hold representations of the Divine Feminine as seen in various traditions including Quan Yin; Goddess of Compassion, Isis; the Mother Goddess, Kali; Goddess of Creation and Destruction. On the walls are Green Tara in a beautiful Tanka, the four elemental Venus of Willendorf paintings, a Goddess of Abundance and a Flower of Life Plaque.

The one a Maylands will be dedicated to Spiritual Truth. It will hold representations of the Elements; Earth, Air, Fire & Water as the foundations of life, the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine and the Source or Unity, in acknowledgement that we are all connected and that there is spirit in all things.

 

The Prayer Book contains prayers and incantations of healing, worship and devotion. Everyone is welcome to make an entry in the prayer book should they feel moved to do so.

Incense is available for use in the Sanctuary. The smoke from incense is said to carry our prayers and devotions to the ears of the Divine. Please light an incense stick during your stay in the Sanctuary.

 

 

The Prayer & Healing Boards will be installed soon and it will be for those who seek spiritual support. You may add the name of any person who has asked for assistance. The person must have specifically asked for support from our Sanctuary. A prayer will be said daily for each name on the board. Names will be kept on the board for one month, full moon to full moon, so they must be renewed if continued support is sought.

Within that, I try to be as flexible as possible; so please feel free to come to me with a suggestion or feedback from you or your clients. I am constantly working to improve the quality of the SMS experience and I value the input from one and all – the more hearts and minds the better!!

• My insurance covers all SMS property, to the best of my knowledge everything is in sound working order and does not pose any safety risk. I also have comprehensive Public Liability insurance. Please make appropriate arrangements with your insurer for your own property and for public liability. I would appreciate a copy of your policy statement.
• Bookings in the SMS diary take precedence. It is your responsibility to ensure any bookings you make are also in the SMS diary.
• Leave the space, as you found it ie CLEAN & TIDY
• Be thoughtful of wastage and fire safety.
• Know where the fire extinguishers are located
• Extinguish candles and incense when you have finished
• Turn heater / air conditioner off as you leave
• Turn off lights if you are the last to leave
• Use scrap paper when appropriate
• Please report any safety concerns to me ASAP

The following system of 3 booking periods per day allows adequate time for set up at the start of your session and tidy up at the end. It also allows time for a session running over time, with out causing you, your clients or me any stress.

Sessions:

Morning 8am – 12noon
Afternoon 12 – 6pm
Evening 6pm on

Rates:

$50 / session
$80 / 2 consecutive sessions eg Tues afternoon and on into Tues evening
$200 / weekend – Saturday and Sunday
$225 / 2 consecutive full days and one evening eg Thurs, Thurs evening and Friday

Series of 5 or more separate sessions: $40 / session eg 5 x Wed evening

Bookings:

firm with a minimum 50% deposit, otherwise the space may be offered to others.

Cancellation Policy:

1month prior = full refund
3wks prior = 50% refund
2wks or less prior = NO REFUND
