Spirit in All things – Let Your Light Shine

| The following are more detailed explanations of what our Statement of Intent means. This expanded version of the Statement of Intent was developed after Tamara was asked to explain how each statement would be observed in action. |
We provide a safe, nurturing
space for learning, sharing and healing.
- Respect for privacy is paramount and the boundaries for
privacy need to be explicitly discussed with each group
- Information about an individual may only be shared with
others if the individual has given permission
- Just because "spirit" sends a message does not mean we have
the right to give it, permission to share must still be
sought or we are engaging in psychic invasion eg I have
a message for you about your health, would you like to hear
it? or I believe I have some information for you, please
take my card and contact me if you would like to. Accept
a refusal with grace.
- Everyone has the right to learn, question and grow or
not
- Everyone has the right to "pass" ie not share any thoughts etc
- Critical questions, feedback or comments must offer solutions
and avoid personal or character attack if they are to be
taken seriously. They must also be ‘signed’.
- Those running the session (teaching, facilitating, reading,
healing) need to maintain very high standards of “spiritual
hygiene”
- Cleanse and clear themselves and the space before
and after each session
- Call on appropriate Guides and Guardians
- Teach others to cleanse, clear and protect
- Build in grounding at the close of the session and
ensure that everyone understands the importance grounding
and the consequences of not grounding
|
We provide services of the highest
integrity for personal growth, healing and learning.
- Integrity involves honesty, quality and authenticity
in qualification and relevant experience
- The experience must be consistent with the promotional
material in order to maintain integrity
- Personal growth and healing requires that the individual
take personal responsibility by
- trusting their own guidance first and foremost
- making their own judgements
- accepting responsibility for their choices and behaviour
- Remember that we are spiritual beings here to have a
human experience, so make allowances for both our spiritual
greatness and our human frailty.
- We must be vigilant about minimising the impact and power
of the ego, both in ourselves and in others
|
We provide the best quality, most earth
healthy products we can find.
- Quality products may cost more but in the end are better
value because they last longer and function better
- Quality products are both beautiful and functional
- Recycle and reuse; avoid waste as much as possible
- Support those who endeavour to produce earth healthy
products, even if that means paying more
|
We encourage sustainable practices
in every area of human activity.
- Pace yourself so that you can do what you do, for as
long as you wish too; burn-out is waste caused by poor management
- Sustainability involves earth healthy choices
|
We encourage honourable exchanges for
services rendered or products provided.
- It is appropriate and acceptable, indeed it is desirable,
to “pay” for skills, talents, knowledge and
experiences in all areas of human activity, including spiritual
activity
- Payment can be made in kind or with money or with time
or any other agreed thing of equal value
- What is given and received must be agreeable to both
parties; this prevents karmic debt
- Money can be used in an honourable exchange because money
is simply a convenient representation of energy –
it is the intent with which we use money that makes the
difference
|
We encourage kind, honest, dignified,
respectful and empathetic relationships.
- We are all connected through the animating spark of Life
thus treat all beings the way you would be treated
- Make kindness a habit; it benefits all
- Honesty does not equal harsh, rude, unkind, or inappropriate
communication. Honesty can be delivered gently, with kindness,
care and respect.
- Honesty with self is just as important as honesty with
others
- Dignity and self esteem go hand in hand
- Respect is continually earned; through thought, word
and deed
- Empathy does not involve pity or saving someone, it does
not allow dependence to develop; it simply honours the experience
of another as their truth, without judgement or condemnation
|
We honour the right of individuals
to follow their own path.
- No one has the right to tell another how to have a relationship
with the sacred/divine/god/ess/all that is
- No one path is the only path; be cautious of anyone who
suggests that this is so
- If the path of another is not consistent with yours,
do not take it! Allow them to take their own journey as
you would take yours; freely, without judgement or condemnation
- Our freedoms of religious and spiritual practice must
be defended at all costs
|
We honour the truth found in all religions
and spiritual traditions.
- The truth is the truth no matter what we choose to believe.
- Truth transcends everything; time, language, culture, gender,
wealth
- Religion and tradition are the result of culture, history,
social conditions and politics as well as spiritual revelation
and truth. Look beyond the human constructs and historic
veils to see the truth
|
We honour the sacredness and sentience
of Nature.
- Nature is beyond human control and thus a place where
all may come to find the divine, the sacred and the spiritual
- Humans are part of Nature not above or separate to it,
thus our actions towards Nature need to take this into account
