This policy is often more expensive but is well worth it in the long run. It builds a community of dedicated and talented local artists, growers and producers. It encourages producers to be as sustainable and earth friendly as possible. And it means that we can recommend any product in our store with a clear conscience and happy heart.

We are passionate about educating people about everything in the store. To do this we provide free information slips with many items and spend time to demonstrate the best use or storage for our products. This ensures you get the best possible performance and longevity from your purchases. We also honour the makers and growers of our products and thus provide information about them too. Please ask questions of our staff, if they don’t know the answer, they will offer to find out!
