A solution to a maths problem, freshly raked soil, the gaze of a person at peace, mist in a valley, a child's drawing- beauty can be found in all these things. True beauty, not the media model; elite, unreal, plastic but the kind that moves one to tears or touches the heart is perceived when the Divine is close. This feeling that leads one to exclaim "wow! how beautiful" or to well up with tears when there is no pain or sorrow or to have the sensation of lightness of being, this feeling is the bliss of beauty. And this bliss is what Joseph Campell was refering to when he famously said "follow your Bliss". It is this feeling that lets us know we are on the path to truth, to enlightenment, to living our highest potential. To discover your true path simply follow the bliss of beauty.
