Psychic Good Manners

When the magical world of intuition and contact with Spirit Guides, Angels, power animals and the like opens up, it is a very exciting time. Lots of people get very enthusiastic about sharing their new found awareness with anyone and everyone. This means they overcome any thoughts of plain good manners or sensitivities to privacy and simply blurt out what they “get from Spirit” regardless of what it is, who it is about and where they are.

In my opinion it is simply not acceptable to just wander up to someone, read them and then reveal information or message you have for them without their permission. This is invasive and rude not to mention irresponsible!

Firstly, you must to gain permission to read for somone or to pass on a message from Spirit. You could approach the person and simply say that you have psychic skills and have got a feeling that you could give them some information that could be helpful for them and then ask if they would like that information. If you ask for permission and it is not given, then acceptance with grace is the only option. You could offer a card so that they can contact you later if they change their minds. Remember that just because you have got a message does not mean the person is ready or willing to hear it.

Then you need to consider where you are; people need to feel safe in order to be open to receiving the message and privacy is important. So giving a reading on a bus is not really a good idea but if you must and they have given permission then ok.

Lastly, it is totally unacceptable to gossip or socially discuss your reading with others. Ask spirit to remove the memory of your readings when they are complete so that this is not possible – protect yourself and your “clients”.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have about what I have written. Any constructive comments are also welcome.
